Built for the military, this over-engineered 85 pound gem was the top-of-the-line receiver for reliable communications. This model built by Stewart-Warner Electronics. 115/230 VAC, 220 watt. Tunes 5 MHZ WWV right on the button. Single-sideband would need either a mod (several published on the internet) or the original (very expensive and equally heavy) accessory. The tuning knob does stick during a part of the cycle, but I didn't find the area during my cursory look. Serious buyers only, I don't like to lug this back and forth to set up/show. Will consider trade for good working HF Transceiver (no tubes!) of similar value. Reduced price on 7Nov2023.
