Fender Electric Guitar Lead 2 II / Stratocaster type -1980 Lead II Relic / Used
Made in USA 1980' Vintage- Fender Lead 2, Modified to Strat Style-Vintage
- One of a Kind Guitar -
~The guitar has a slightly smaller body than a Strat, but is the same overall length, 25.5" scale. It plays incredibly well. The paint is completely original with its natural relic/wear. Paint checking, paint wear, paint fading. The paint does not flake off. It looks the same as it did when I got it.
- When I got the guitar in 2002' it had already been routed-out for an extra pickup, and the pickguard had already been modified for a 3rd pickup. It was an incomplete project guitar, in parts in a box. Now it has a set of Bill Lawrence pickups; Bridge L290, and middle/neck 280's pickups. These are great sounding pickups and are Noise Free with absolutely no-hum. The 5-way pickup selector gives you all the Strat sounds. There's a Brass Nut installed. The tuners are Planet Waves Locking Tuners.

~Lawrence Pickups (installed); Bridge- 18.50K, Middle- 9.82K, Neck- 9.58K. These are well balanced stable sounding pickups. They were manufactured as a set, hand-wound/hand-made by Bill Lawrence (Signed).
