One-of-a-kind, handcrafted solid mahogany bar made in the Philippines around 1979. Still owned by the original family who commissioned it.
This bar features four hand-carved front panels depicting scenes of Filipino rural life—rice farmers, water buffalo, nipa huts, and more. Matching bar chairs include carved backs with similar detailing.
This is a large, heavy, and beautifully detailed piece—not mass-produced. Built by skilled Filipino artisans using traditional methods, it includes removable bottle racks stored inside the rear cabinet.
Approximate dimensions:
Length: 88 inches
Width: 32 inches
Height: 48 inches
Chair back height: 46 inches
Bar stool seat height: 32 inches
Condition:
Excellent for its age. Used only on rare occasions and remains solid. It can serve as a display piece or a fully functional bar. Maintained with care — oiled regularly by me and my sister since we were children. This bar was maintained and loved.
There are no tears in the stitching. The cabinet doors in the rear still snap when open and shut. Bottle racks originally stored inside were placed on top for the photos.
Note: There is one spot of water damage on the top surface.
Ideal for collectors, decorators, or anyone looking for a statement piece in a home bar, lounge, or themed space.
Local pickup in Alamogordo. Willing to work with serious buyers if freight shipping is arranged at your expense.
